Pelas fronteiras do corpo: a imagem em Angelik Kasalia<\/strong><\/p>\n

A vida se expande em infinitas possibilidades. Com ela, delineiam-se formas cuja multiplicidade de sentidos exprimem a complexa representa\u00e7\u00e3o de uma vasta ambi\u00eancia humana. Carregando no semblante a marca indel\u00e9vel da finitude, fazemos do ato de existir um imenso palco atrav\u00e9s do qual transita especialmente a nossa busca por algum f\u00f4lego que nos anime o esp\u00edrito.<\/p>\n

O ato de pensar a arte como uma esp\u00e9cie de liberta\u00e7\u00e3o pode estar associado \u00e0 necessidade que temos de tornar a realidade uma experi\u00eancia outra. A explica\u00e7\u00e3o talvez venha do fato de que n\u00e3o damos conta de suportar os acessos di\u00e1rios da vida, com seus matizes de \u00e1pice e decl\u00ednio dos sentimentos. Restaria-nos, ent\u00e3o, o ref\u00fagio numa dimens\u00e3o deslocada do real, esfera de conv\u00edvio na qual recriamos n\u00e3o somente a n\u00f3s mesmos como tamb\u00e9m aos nossos semelhantes.<\/p>\n

Se cremos na harmonia entre mundos paralelos, ou seja, na t\u00e1cita conviv\u00eancia entre o vivido e o inventado, podemos constatar que existir \u00e9 avan\u00e7ar sobre o manto invis\u00edvel das horas. Para al\u00e9m dos registros temporais, ousamos penetrar na zona indecifr\u00e1vel da vida, lugar que n\u00e3o se materializa de forma comum a todos os mortais. Assim, h\u00e1 chaves pessoais que precisam ser utilizadas para que distintos portais do autoconhecimento possam ser explorados.<\/p>\n

Entendendo o corpo humano como um verdadeiro elo entre os mundos interno e externo, a fot\u00f3grafa Angelik Kasalia<\/strong><\/a> vem nos lembrar que a vida tamb\u00e9m est\u00e1 a servi\u00e7o da arte, e n\u00e3o necessariamente o contr\u00e1rio como tanto se anuncia por a\u00ed. Suas imagens denotam de imediato o tom intimista que revela levezas e densidades dos seres retratados.<\/p>\n

Como num imenso emaranhado embasado em requintes po\u00e9ticos, o olhar de Angelik repousa sobre o sujeito tomado em sua mais delicada perspectiva de express\u00e3o. Nesse sentido, a zona de compreens\u00e3o das coisas n\u00e3o se mostra algo determinada, pois o car\u00e1ter que reveste as personagens expostas adv\u00e9m de um exerc\u00edcio de frui\u00e7\u00e3o abstrata das experi\u00eancias. O resultado desse processo comunica tons, gestos e, acima de tudo, vozes que nos falam de mundos distantes ou pr\u00f3ximos.<\/p>\n

N\u00e3o seria exagero considerar que as por\u00e7\u00f5es humanas expostas na cria\u00e7\u00e3o da fot\u00f3grafa em quest\u00e3o exalam uma marcante esfera de imagens envolta nos apelos do mist\u00e9rio. Talvez porque seja extremamente dif\u00edcil dar conta de submeter \u00e0 racionalidade o crivo de uma tentativa de explica\u00e7\u00e3o direta dos fen\u00f4menos abordados. Ainda assim, parece uma tentativa pouco razo\u00e1vel a de estabelecer conceitos para o que se v\u00ea diante desse ritual de subjetividades abra\u00e7adas a um teor de imaterialidade. Afinal, como classificar o intang\u00edvel?<\/p>\n

Angelik \u00e9, na verdade, a persona art\u00edstica de Angela Kasalia, que nasceu e vive em Atenas, na Gr\u00e9cia, at\u00e9 os dias atuais.\u00a0 Seu envolvimento com a fotografia deriva da necessidade de expressar suas emo\u00e7\u00f5es e sentimentos. Num tom confessional, ela afirma que seus registros, mesmo apresentando pessoas as mais diversas, refletem sua pr\u00f3pria exist\u00eancia. Na perspectiva de observa\u00e7\u00e3o do outro, a fot\u00f3grafa constata que encontra a si mesma a cada imagem concebida.<\/p>\n

Atrav\u00e9s de suas fotografias, Angelik ressignifica a experi\u00eancia que emana do corpo. Considera este um verdadeiro agenciador de linguagens na medida em que propaga importantes efeitos potencializadores discursivos. Tomado numa acep\u00e7\u00e3o f\u00edsica, o corpo aqui exposto nas alamedas da arte aparece evidenciado pelo seu car\u00e1ter transmissor de mensagens. De outro modo, e tencionando a via imaterial, vemos aquele mesmo corpo assumir propor\u00e7\u00f5es simbolicamente et\u00e9reas.<\/p>\n

Os trajetos da imagem presentes nos registros de Angelik Kasalia v\u00eam nos falar dessa linha t\u00eanue e delicada que divide corpo e alma humanos.\u00a0 E tais dimens\u00f5es, mesmo que sejam distintas por natureza, tendem a estabelecer uma rela\u00e7\u00e3o de harmoniza\u00e7\u00e3o e complementaridade entre si. Os efeitos disso dependem dos mecanismos de interpreta\u00e7\u00e3o de cada um de n\u00f3s. Ao sa\u00edrem de sua matriz criadora, as fotografias tomam novos aspectos, ganham impulso e chegam ao mundo como se fossem o pren\u00fancio de uma aurora iluminada pela poesia. Ciclo que n\u00e3o se apaga.<\/p>\n

Through the outlines of the body: the image in Angelik Kasalia<\/strong><\/p>\n

Life expands into infinite possibilities. With it, forms whose multiplicity of meanings are delineated, expressing the complex representation of a vast human ambience. Carrying in our countenance the indelible mark of finitude, we make of the act of existing an immense stage through which transits, especially, our search for some breath that animates the spirit.<\/p>\n

The act of thinking art as a kind of liberation may be associated with our need to make of reality another experience. The explanation may come from the fact that we do not manage to withstand the daily spasms of life, with its hues of apex and decline of feelings. We would then be left with the refuge in a displaced dimension of the real, sphere of interactions in which we recreate not only ourselves but also our fellows.<\/p>\n

If we believe in the harmony between parallel worlds, that is, in the tacit coexistence between the lived and the invented, we can realize that existing is advancing on the invisible cloak of the hours. Over and above the temporal records, we dare to penetrate the indecipherable zone of life, a place that does not materialize itself in a common way to all mortals. Thus, there are personal keys that need to be used so that different portals of self-knowledge can be explored.<\/p>\n

Understanding the human body as a true link between the inner and outer worlds, the photographer Angelik Kasalia<\/strong> reminds us that life is also in the service of art, and not necessarily the opposite, as it is so usually announced. Her images immediately denote the intimate tone that reveals the lightness and density of the portrayed individuals.<\/p>\n

As in an immense tangle substantiated on poetic refinement, Angelik’s gaze rests on the subject taken in a most delicate perspective of expression. In this sense, the area of understanding of things is not presented as something determined, since the mark that shrouds the presented characters comes from an exercise of abstract enjoyment of experiences. The result of this process communicates tones, gestures and, above all, voices that speak to us of distant or neighbouring worlds.<\/p>\n

It would not be exaggerated to consider that the human portions exposed in the creations of the photographer exhale a striking dimension of images wrapped in the appeals of mystery. Perhaps because it is extremely difficult to submit to rationality the sieve of an attempt to directly explain the phenomena addressed. Nevertheless, it seems an unreasonable attempt to establish concepts for what is seen in the face this ritual of subjectivities embraced to a level of immateriality. After all, how to classify the intangible?<\/p>\n

Angelik is, in fact, the artistic persona of Angela Kasalia, who was born and lives in Athens, Greece, to this day. Her involvement with photography stems from the need to express emotions and feelings. In a confessional tone, she affirms that her records, even presenting the most diverse people, reflect her own existence. From the perspective of observation of the other, the photographer states that she finds herself in each of the conceived images.<\/p>\n

Through her photographs, Angelik re-signifies the experience emanating from the body. She considers it to be a true agent of languages insofar as it propagates important maximazing discursive effects. Taken in a physical sense, the body here exposed in the paths of art is evidenced by its message-transmitting character. Otherwise, and leaning towards the immaterial, we see that same body assume symbolically ethereal proportions.<\/p>\n

The paths of the image in the records of Angelik Kasalia come to tell us of this fine and delicate line that divides human body and soul. And such dimensions, even if they are distinct by nature, tend to establish a relationship of harmonization and complementarity between them. These effects depend on the mechanisms of interpretation of each of us. When they leave their creative matrix, the photographs take on new aspects, gain momentum and come into the world as if they were the clarvoyants of an aurora illuminated by poetry. Cycle that does not fade.<\/p>\n
